Limp curls?

Clients often ask how to encourage ones hair to hold a curl.

To achieve a lasting curl, the hair requires a hold product and good tools. It cannot be done without the combination.

My favorite products for hold are mousse or a styling cream. My favorite mousse is the Bamboo weightless whipped mousse by Alterna and my favorite styling cream is the Caviar 10 in 1 complete correction also from Alterna.

My favorite tool for curling is my Be Professional curling wand by Cortex! It is a ceramic iron providing even distribution for an evenly heated curl strand. It has a long swivel cord and a temperature control setting. The temperature control setting is ideal on irons because not every person has identical hair textures. For a more course hair texture, a lower temperature setting will suffice, and for finer hair texture, a higher temperature is required to achieve your desired result.
